Lunch on the ferry served from noon until 1 p.m. We chose the chicken option when we bought our meal tickets. Lunch worked just like dinner the night before – take a metal tray, plastic plate, spoon, chop sticks and pile on the food. The options were the same as last night’s dinner except no green salad – bean sprouts with red pepper, sour green vegetable and pickled cabbage with red peppers and steamed rice. The chicken was boiled and piled high with a red-hot spicy sauce. Once I saw the chicken, I opted for the fried fish, which was cold but edible. I ate mostly rice and bean sprouts. The small restaurant was full so one of the crew opened the attached small karaoke bar where the rest of us ate lunch.
