When we walked to Ragona Oyster Bar, the streets were almost deserted. Where were all the people that packed the streets earlier in the day? Even in the restaurant, there were less than 10 customers. I was a bit surprised, but we enjoyed great service and food at dinner. The best part – oysters. From now on, I will only serve oysters on the half shell the way I ate them that night in Glasgow – with lemon, red wine vinegar with loads of finely chopped red onions, fresh ground paprika and Tabasco sauce (right out of the bottle). I ate a half-dozen and they were delicious.
